4:5-31.Ā Marking affected animals
Any bovine animal affected with advanced or generalized tuberculosis or withĀ tuberculosis of the udder or which has reacted to the tuberculin test shall beĀ plainly and permanently marked by any member or duly authorized agent orĀ representative of the department, and such marking shall not be construed asĀ cruelty to animals within the meaning of any law of this state.
