4:5-75.7.Ā Appraisement where agreement cannot be reached
In all cases where an immediate agreement cannot be reached as to the valueĀ of animals or materials, the appraisement of such animals or materials shall beĀ made by an authorized agent or representative of the New Jersey Department ofĀ Agriculture and an authorized agent or representative of the United StatesĀ Department of Agriculture, together with a third person who shall be aĀ disinterested citizen appointed by the first two. The valuation shall beĀ determined as provided in sections five and six of this act.Ā Such appraisalĀ shall be official and shall be accepted by the owner and the department, and noĀ further claim shall be made against the State by the owner.
