40A:4-4.Ā Procedures for adoption of budget
All budgets shall be introduced, approved, amended and adopted by resolutionĀ passed by not less than a majority of the full membership of the governingĀ body.
The procedure shall be as follows:
a.Ā Introduction and approval.
b.Ā Public advertising.
c.Ā Public hearing.
d.Ā Amendments and public hearings, if required.
e.Ā Adoption.
