40A:4-86.Ā Correction of revenue item
The director may correct an item of revenue appearing in any adopted budgetĀ if any law requires such correction or makes such correction advisable.Ā IfĀ such correction shall require that the local purpose levy of the local unitĀ shall be adjusted, the director shall order the correction or adjustment of theĀ local tax levy accordingly, unless the tax rate for the year shall have beenĀ struck and shall certify such adjustment to the county board of taxation.
