40:23-6.47.Ā  Office of consumer affairs;Ā  establishment by county or municipality;Ā  employees
A county, by resolution or ordinance, as the case may be, or a municipality,Ā  by ordinance, may create and establish an office of consumer affairs to beĀ  administered by a county or municipal director of consumer affairs who shall beĀ  appointed by the governing body thereof.Ā  In addition, the governing body mayĀ  provide for the employment of such other officers and employees as may beĀ  necessary or desirable for the proper conduct of the affairs of the office. The qualifications of the director and other officers and employees shall beĀ  established by the Attorney General.
