40:37-139.Ā  Dedication of park lands for public street in certain cases
When, in any city of the first class, any real estate owned by or under theĀ  care, custody and control of the county park commission is included within orĀ  adjoins the location of an existing public road or street, the county parkĀ  commission may dedicate so much of that real estate as it may determine to beĀ  for the public interest, to public use as a public road or street, by theĀ  adoption of an appropriate resolution, and by filing with the county clerk orĀ  register of deeds, as the case may be, a copy of the resolution and a map of soĀ  much of the real estate owned by, or under the care, custody and control of theĀ  county park commission, as may be necessary to show the part intended to be soĀ  dedicated.Ā  Such dedication shall not be made unless the governing body of theĀ  city in which the real estate is situate shall, by resolution, consentĀ  thereto.
