40:37-95.19.Ā Sale of land not required for park purposes;Ā auction
If all the members of the park commission shall by resolution determine thatĀ any real estate or part thereof acquired in pursuance of this act is no longerĀ required for park purposes and that the interest of the public will be betterĀ served by the sale thereof, the commission may certify such resolution to theĀ board of chosen freeholders.Ā If the board of chosen freeholders concursĀ therein, that real estate or part thereof may be sold for cash at public saleĀ to the highest bidder.
