40:41A-34.Ā Salary
The salary of the county executive shall be fixed by ordinance of the boardĀ of freeholders;Ā such salary shall be reasonable and commensurate with theĀ duties of the office and with the fact that the position of county executive isĀ and shall be a full-time position.Ā The salary of the county executive may notĀ be lowered during his tenure in office.
