40:54-29.21.Ā  Title to realty
The title to any real estate acquired pursuant to any such appropriation shall be taken in the names of the municipalities as tenants in common, but theĀ  use and control thereof shall be in the board of trustees so long as such realĀ  estate is used for joint free public library purposes.
