40:56A-6.Ā Studies and recommendations
An environmental commission shall have power to study and make recommendations concerning open space preservation, water resources management,Ā air pollution control, solid waste management, noise control, soil andĀ landscape protection, environmental appearance, marine resources and protectionĀ of flora and fauna.
