40:69A-149.6.Ā Mayor;Ā powers and duties
The executive power of the municipality shall be exercised by the mayor. HeĀ shall enforce the charter and ordinances of the municipality and all generalĀ laws applicable thereto, and shall recommend such actions to the council as heĀ may deem in the public interest.
