40:74-15.Ā Several ordinances submitted together;Ā number of elections limited
Any number of proposed ordinances submitted by the board or pursuant to R.S.Ā 40:74-5 or R.S. 40:74-9 may be voted upon at the same election in accordanceĀ with the provisions of this article, but there shall not be more than oneĀ special election in any period of 6 months for such purpose. During that 6Ā month period, any ordinance which would otherwise be submitted to the voters atĀ a special election if one were not already scheduled, shall be submitted at theĀ scheduled special election, if at least 30 days shall remain prior thereto fromĀ the final date for withdrawal of the petition;Ā otherwise the ordinance shallĀ be submitted at the next general election or regular municipal election,Ā whichever shall first occur.
