40:74-2.Ā Enacting clause;Ā suits for penalties
The enacting clause of all ordinances passed by the board of commissioners shall beĀ "the board of commissioners of the (here insert name of municipality)Ā do ordain" ;Ā and all proceedings for the recovery of penalties for theĀ violation of the ordinances of the municipality shall be commenced andĀ prosecuted in the corporate name of the municipality.
