40:76-12.Ā When petition finally accepted clerk to call election; procedure
When it has been determined, by either the municipal clerk or a judge of theĀ Superior Court, that the petition conforms to the provisions of this chapter,Ā the clerk shall forthwith call a special election, to be held not later thanĀ August fifteenth, in any year, for the submission of the question of theĀ abandonment of the commission form of government, to the legal voters of theĀ municipality by proceeding in the manner hereinafter in this chapter provided.
