43:16A-22.Ā Other laws not affected
The State Firemen's Relief Fund and the State Firemen's Association and theĀ laws by virtue of which they exist and operate shall not be affected by theĀ provisions of this act, nor shall anything in this act contained be construedĀ to in anywise limit or interfere with the operation and effect of sectionsĀ 38:23-4, 38:23-5 and 38:23-6 of the Revised Statutes.
