43:21-56.Ā Severability
If any clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part of this act shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional, invalidĀ or inoperative, in whole or in part, such judgment shall not affect, impair orĀ invalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation to theĀ clause, sentence, paragraph, section or part thereof directly involved in theĀ controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.Ā To the extentĀ that any provision of this act shall not have been adjudged unconstitutional,Ā invalid or inoperative, such provision shall be enforced and effectuated.
