44:1-73.2.Ā Municipal director of welfare deemed referred to by mention of overseer, etc.
Whenever the termsĀ "overseer of the poor," "overseer," "deputy overseerĀ of the poor,"Ā andĀ "deputy overseer,"Ā occur or any reference is made to anyĀ of said terms, in any law, they, and each of them, shall be deemed to mean orĀ refer to the municipal director of welfare appointed pursuant to the provisionsĀ of chapter one hundred thirty of the laws of one thousand nine hundred andĀ forty.
