44:12-1.Ā Definitions
For the purposes of this actĀ "Federal Government"Ā means the United StatesĀ of America, acting through the Office of Economic Opportunity, establishedĀ under an act of the Eighty-eighth Congress of the United States entitledĀ "TheĀ Economic Opportunity Act of 1964"Ā and any acts amendatory thereof orĀ supplemental thereto, or revisions thereof, or acting through any other FederalĀ agency established by any other act of the Congress of the United StatesĀ heretofore passed or as may hereafter be passed for like or similar purposes,Ā andĀ "local unit"Ā means all boards, bodies, officers and agencies of the StateĀ and of every county, municipality and school district thereof.
