44:2-2.Ā Control;Ā officers
Any such almshouse shall be under the direction, superintendence and government of the board of chosen freeholders, which board may:
a.Ā Appoint such officers, committees or boards as may be necessary for theĀ management thereof;Ā and
b.Ā Make such rules, regulations and by-laws respecting the almshouse as theĀ board shall from time to time deem proper.
