44:4-126.Ā Additional municipal appropriations
When any sum appropriated as provided in section 44:4-125 of this title hasĀ been expended or exhausted, during the year and for the purpose for which itĀ was appropriated, the county welfare board shall notify the governing body ofĀ the municipality, which shall provide for the continuance of the relief of theĀ temporary or outdoor poor residing in the municipality, for the balance of theĀ calendar or fiscal year, by an additional appropriation for the purpose, to beĀ made available to the order of the county welfare board of the county.
