44:4-22.Ā Compensation and expenses of members
Members shall receive no compensation for their services, but shall be allowed their actual and necessary expenses, on the approval of the director ofĀ the board of chosen freeholders, all of which shall be audited and paid in theĀ same manner as other expenses are paid in and for the county.
