44:7-28.Ā Governor to include state's share in budget;Ā annual appropriation
The governor shall fix and determine and state in his annual budget messageĀ a sum sufficient to pay the estimated amount of the state's net share of oldĀ age assistance as provided in section 44:7-25 of this title, together with theĀ deficiencies, if any, incurred in any previous year.Ā The legislature shallĀ include the amount so determined and stated in the annual appropriation bill.
