Any person who knowingly violates any provision of this chapter for which noĀ penalty is specifically provided shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall beĀ punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or imprisonment forĀ not more than one year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
