The Legislature finds and declares that effective implementation of consumerĀ protection laws and the administration of laws pertaining to the professionalĀ and occupational boards located within the Division of Consumer Affairs requireĀ uniform investigative and enforcement powers and procedures and uniformĀ standards for license revocation, suspension and other disciplinary proceedingsĀ by such boards.Ā This act is deemed remedial, and the provisions hereof shouldĀ be afforded a liberal construction.
