45:11-51.      Adoption of standards     12.    The Director of the Division of Consumer Affairs in the Department of Law and Public Safety may receive and shall give due consideration to advice from the Board of Nursing and the State Board of Medical Examiners in adopting standards for the joint protocols required by subsection d. of section 10 of P.L.1991, c.377 (C.45:11-49).  The standards shall be established by rule adopted by the Director of the Division of Consumer Affairs in accordance with the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.)
