45:22-14.Ā Pawnbroker to keep identification cards
The pawnbroker shall at the time of making a loan require the pledgor or hisĀ agent to write his signature and address on a card bearing the serial number ofĀ the loan corresponding to that recorded in the pawnbroker's book, as providedĀ in section 45:22-13 of this title.Ā If such person is unable to write, he shallĀ sign by mark, and in such event the pawnbroker shall record on the signatureĀ card such information as will enable him to identify the person in case of theĀ loss of the ticket.
