45:22-36.Ā  Special invoice required Any person or persons, firm or firms, partnership or partnerships, association or associations, corporation or corporations, engaged in the business of buying or selling watches, or any agent or servant thereof, who mayĀ  sell a second-hand watch or in any other way pass title thereto shall deliverĀ  to the vendee a written invoice bearing the wordsĀ  "second-hand watch"Ā  in boldĀ  letters, larger than any of the other written matter upon said invoice.Ā  SaidĀ  invoice shall further set forth the name and address of the vendor, the nameĀ  and address of the vendee, the date of the sale, the name of the watch or itsĀ  maker, and the serial numbers (if any), and any other distinguishing numbers orĀ  identification marks upon its case and movement.Ā  If the serial numbers orĀ  other distinguishing numbers or identification marks shall have been erased,Ā  defaced, removed, altered or covered, said invoice shall so state.Ā  The vendorĀ  shall keep on file a duplicate of said invoice for at least five years from theĀ  date of the sale thereof, which shall be open to inspection during all businessĀ  hours by the prosecutor of the pleas of the county, in which the vendor isĀ  engaged in business or his duly authorized representative.
