45:22-5.Ā Pawnbroker must be insured
Each pawnbroker licensed pursuant to the provisions of this article shall beĀ required by the commissioner of banking and insurance to furnish proof that heĀ is adequately covered by insurance, bond or cash surplus to cover any pledgorĀ in the event of loss by fire, theft, burglary or otherwise, or his liability toĀ the pledgor.
