45:6-4.Ā  Application and fee Every applicant for a license shall file his application with and pay a feeĀ  of fifty dollars ($50.00) to the secretary-treasurer of the board and presentĀ  himself for examination at the first regular meeting of the board after suchĀ  application, due notice of which shall be given.Ā  Such fee shall not beĀ  refunded, unless from sickness or other good cause appearing to the satisfaction of the board such applicant was prevented from attending and completing such examination.Ā  Further or subsequent examinations under such application may be given to applicants, in the discretion of the board, upon payment of an additional fee of twenty dollars ($20.00).
