46:22-3.  Assignee of unrecorded assignment of mortgage bound by foreclosure  and sale
The assignee of any mortgage upon real estate by an assignment not recorded  pursuant to section 46:18-3 of this title shall be bound by the proceedings and  sale in any foreclosure action against any previous holder of such mortgage.
