46:8-39.Ā Information on crime insurance;Ā advice to tenants
Within 6 months of the effective date of this act, every owner of a multipleĀ dwelling shall make available to all his tenants information regarding crimeĀ insurance through the Federal Crime Insurance Program of Title VI of theĀ Housing and Urban Development Act of 1970, 12 U.S.C. Sec. 1749 b b b et seq.,Ā and advise the tenants where applications for such insurance may be obtained. All tenants who assume occupancy more than 6 months after the effective dateĀ of the act shall be provided with this information no more than 30 days afterĀ they assume occupancy.
