51:1-78.Ā Reweighing on complaint
When the correctness of the net or gross weight of any commodity, for whichĀ a certificate of weight or measure has been issued by a public weighmaster, isĀ questioned, the owner, agent, or consignee may, upon complaint to the stateĀ superintendent of weights and measures, or to one of his assistantĀ superintendents, have said commodity reweighed by them gratis. A publicĀ weighmaster designated by the state superintendent may reweigh said commodity.
