52:14-27.Ā Amount of fund
The state treasurer, upon the warrant of the state comptroller, may, for theĀ purpose aforesaid, pay to the treasurer of such board or institution or to theĀ person or official acting as such, from the annual appropriation of state fundsĀ for its maintenance, an amount necessary therefor not exceeding two thousandĀ dollars in any fiscal year, upon the application in writing by the managementĀ of such board or institution.
