52:9R-3.Ā Duties
The committee is authorized, empowered and directed to conduct a continuingĀ study of the system of free public schools, its financing, administration, andĀ operations, and to make recommendations for legislative action as it deemsĀ practicable and desirable for the maintenance and support of a thorough andĀ efficient system of free public schools.
