53:1-21.1.Ā Establishment of radiotelephone and intercommunicating system
There shall be established in the Division of State Police in the DepartmentĀ of Law and Public Safety under the direction of the Superintendent of StateĀ Police a modern, integrated mobile radiotelephone and intercommunicatingĀ system, which shall include sending and receiving stations at fixed StateĀ Police headquarters and State Police stations and in State Police mobile unitsĀ and at such other locations as the police problems of the State may require forĀ full operational control, for the prompt collection and distribution of policeĀ information throughout the State, and for use in disaster operations.
