53:2-2.Ā Duty to execute legal process issued by senate or assembly
The members of the state police, upon the request of the issuing body or theĀ representatives of the issuing body, shall serve and execute, or assist inĀ serving and executing, any summons, subpoena, warrant, commitment, attachment,Ā order of arrest, or other process of any kind that may be issued by or by orderĀ of the senate, the general assembly, or by the senate and general assemblyĀ concurrently, jointly or in joint session, or by any committee of the senate orĀ of the general assembly, or any joint committee of the senate and generalĀ assembly.
