54A:6-6.Ā Compensation for injuries or sickness a.Ā Amounts received under workmen's compensation acts as compensation for personal injuries or sickness.
b.Ā The amount of damages received, whether by suit or agreement, on accountĀ of personal injuries or sickness.
c.Ā Amounts received through accident or health insurance for personal injuries or sickness.
d.Ā Amounts received as a pension, annuity or similar allowance for personalĀ injuries or sickness resulting from active service in the Armed Forces of theĀ United States or in the Coast and Geodetic Survey or the Public Health Service,Ā or as a disability annuity payable under the Foreign Service Act of 1946.
