54:53-12.Ā Acceptance of offer in compromise;Ā notice;Ā conditions
An offer in compromise shall be considered accepted only when the proponentĀ thereof is so notified in writing.Ā As a condition to accepting an offer inĀ compromise, the taxpayer may be required to enter into any collateral agreementĀ or to post any security which is deemed necessary for the protection of theĀ State.
