55:14K-33.Ā  Bonds as legal investment Notwithstanding any restriction contained in any other law, all banks, trustĀ  companies, savings banks and institutions, building and loan associations,Ā  savings and loan associations, investment companies, and other persons carryingĀ  on a banking or investment business, all insurance companies, insuranceĀ  associations and other persons carrying on an insurance business, and allĀ  executors, administrators, guardians, trustees and other fiduciaries, mayĀ  legally invest any sinking funds, moneys or other funds belonging to them orĀ  within their control in any bonds issued pursuant to this act, and such bondsĀ  shall be authorized security for any and all public deposits.
