55:14K-40.Ā Annual report and audit of agency
On or before the last day of March in each year, the agency shall make an annual report of its activities for the preceding calendar year to the GovernorĀ and to the Legislature.Ā Each report shall set forth a complete operating andĀ financial statement covering its operations during the year. The agency shallĀ cause an audit of its books and accounts to be made at least once in each yearĀ by certified public accountants and the cost thereof shall be considered anĀ expense of the agency and a copy thereof shall be filed with the StateĀ Treasurer.
