58:11A-8.Ā Comprehensive public participation program
The Department of Environmental Protection and all areawide waste treatmentĀ management planning agencies shall establish a comprehensive public participation program directed towards informing the public and involving it inĀ the water quality management planning process. Opportunities for meaningfulĀ public participation shall be provided during determination of planning goals,Ā plan development, review, and adoption in accordance with the policy of thisĀ act and all applicable requirements of law.
