58:12A-11.Ā Severability;Ā liberal construction;Ā continuation of rules andĀ regulations promulgated pursuant to repealed statutes
If any provision of this act or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the act and the application of such provision to persons or circumstances other than those to which it is heldĀ invalid, shall not be affected thereby.Ā This act shall be liberally construedĀ to effectuate the purpose and intent thereof.Ā All rules and regulationsĀ promulgated pursuant to any statutes repealed by this act are continued in fullĀ force and effect until superseded and repealed by rules and regulationsĀ promulgated pursuant to this act.
