58:12A-18.  Budget certification;  cost of treatment technique When the department orders a municipality, county, or agency thereof which operates a public water supply system to install treatment techniques or other apparatus or equipment for the purpose of achieving a maximum contaminant level  established by the department, the Division of Local Government Services in the  Department of Community Affairs shall, when reviewing the annual budget of the  municipality, county, or agency thereof, certify that an amount sufficient to  cover the cost of the treatment technique specified in the order issued to the  municipality, county, or agency thereof is included in the annual budget.
