58:14-20.Ā Commissioners may acquire and condemn lands;Ā construction and operation of sewer
Upon the making of the contract hereby authorized, the commissioners may, inĀ their own corporate name, purchase and acquire all lands, and rights and interest in lands, either within or outside the territory of the joint contracting municipalities, which may be necessary for the construction of suchĀ intercepting sewer and its appurtenances, and for this purpose may condemn theĀ same in the manner provided by the general laws of this state relating to theĀ condemnation of lands for public use, and may construct, maintain and operateĀ such intercepting sewer and its appurtenances, together with all works,Ā machinery, appliances and other things requisite or useful for the purposes toĀ be accomplished by the same.
