9:22-1.Ā Municipal youth guidance council
When authorized by resolution of the municipal governing body, the mayor orĀ chief executive officer of each municipality in this State shall appoint by andĀ with the advice and consent of the said governing body a municipal youthĀ guidance council for the said municipality of not to exceed seven members, allĀ of whom shall be residents of the said municipality.Ā The membership of theĀ municipal youth guidance council shall include at least one representative ofĀ the municipal governing body, one representative of the school system, and oneĀ representative of the municipal police department.
