47-26-806. Fee Bond.

(a)  Before the issuance of any license as a certified public weigher, or any renewal thereof, the applicant shall pay to the department an annual fee of eighteen dollars ($18.00). All funds collected under the provisions of this part shall be credited to the department to be used as expendable receipts in the enforcement of this part.

(b)  Before the issuance of any license as a certified public weigher, the applicant shall furnish bond in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000), with surety by a corporate bonding company authorized to do business in this state, to assure that all the applicant's responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the provisions hereof, which are considered to be a part of any such bond.
