49-7-2124. Consent to jurisdiction.

(a)  A person who does business in this state as an athlete agent, regardless of whether the person is registered pursuant to this part, shall by so doing consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of this state, shall be subject to suit in this state and shall be deemed to have appointed the secretary of state as the person's agent to accept service of process in any civil action related to the person doing business as an athlete agent that is commenced against the person in this state.

(b)  The secretary of state may issue subpoenas for any material that is relevant to the administration of this part.
