54-8-106. Employees Manner of paying.

All sums and amounts paid to the supervisor, employees, and laborers upon the public roads of the counties shall be paid by a warrant drawn on the county trustee, signed by the chair of the county highway commission and the county mayor of the county, out of the public road funds.
