57-4-107. Sales of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises in unincorporated areas of a county.

Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, sales of alcoholic beverages shall be permitted in unincorporated areas of a county that, by local option election in a county-wide referendum, approves the legal sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, if that county has a charter form of government. This section shall apply to any such county that has already approved this referendum prior to June 5, 2009, if the referendum was limited to residents in the unincorporated areas of the county.
