57-8-109. Proceedings to abate nuisance Equity powers and procedure.

The proceedings under this chapter, whether in the chancery, circuit, or criminal court, shall be conducted in accordance with the procedure of courts of chancery where not otherwise expressly provided herein; and all of such courts are given the jurisdiction and powers of courts of equity with respect to such proceedings. Such proceedings shall be triable at the term instituted, after due notice or service of process and shall be given precedence over all other cases.
